Google has been providing its Voice Search feature only for mobile phones which enables you to search queries with your voice, instead of typing. Now you can get Google Voice Search like functionality on your PC and MAC using Voice Search Google Chrome extension.

Voice Search for Chrome enables you to search the internet with your voice from PC and MAC . Voice Search add a microphone search option in your Chrome browser and also integrates a speech input button for all websites using HTML5 search boxes. By default Voice Search gives search results from Google, Wikipedia, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Wolfram|Alpha. You can also add your own user-defined search engines to boost your Voice Search experience from computer.

After installing Voice Search extension in Google Chrome, click on the microphone icon (click again on the popup mic icon) and speak to your microphone to get the web search engine result. For example, if you say “Roman numerals” to your microphone you will get the search result of ‘Roman numerals’ from the selected search engine. If you specifically want Wikipedia info of ‘roman numerals’, say "Wikipedia Roman numerals".
